Museum AfterHours is an opportunity to grab a beer, explore the Museum of Life and Science and hang out with your friends... without kids. Some of our events are themed around a topic like beer, coffee, chocolate or wine. Other events are more about exploring what we have to offer at the museum! You can always expect beer, food trucks, music, to learn something new, and a good time. We're also totally open to new ideas so let us know what you'd like to do at the Museum AfterHours!

I am creating this meetup to assemble a group of young women (20's and early 30's) who are looking for fun and friendship in the Durham area. The Proud Failures aim to provide critiques and suggestions for struggling writers, as well as the occasional glass of wine. Bring your pieces in progress, be they flash fiction or novel exerpts. We hold no genre proclivities.
