I have mentioned this to some of you before but here is some of the details. I have talked to Kent and Juanita about this idea. The details will be sorted out over the next few weeks but I wanted to get this posted so you can get it on your schedules.

I want to do a pairing with wine we bring to the chef's table. The idea is we will bring 2 different kinds of wine. Probably a white and a red. I will let Kent tell us which kinds (chardonay, pinot noir, etc). Then we will bring random brands. Kent will make an ala cart kind of meal where we can try the different kinds of food with the different kind of wines probably with 2 stages - one for each wine. I was also hoping to keep the price around $30-40 per person and we bring our own wine.

I will need to know soon how many are coming so please RSVP soon and let me know. Also it needs to be pretty firm since he will be preparing the food and I want to make sure this works well for him. So sorry no maybes.

If you have never been to the Chef's Table I must say Kent does a wonderful job preparing and planning food and wine. In my opion the 2 best places for this in Utah county is Chef's Table and Sundance. This is a formal restaurant but you can come informal (as I usually do).

Thanks to Pat and Kat for organizing, Jim and Roni for providing fun conversation at our table, and everyone else for all the background noise! We had a great time.

This was my first Wine Club Meetup and I enjoyed it immensely. My table companions were great! I would, however, liked to have a bit more room so we could have mingled. Perhaps the attendees should have been limited???

I finally got it all figured out and sent a message to the group. Sorry it took so long. The cost is approximately $35 per person. Bring one or both of a Crisp Chardonnay and a Fruity Red of the following types: Pinot Noir, Syrah, Petite Syrah, or Beaujolais.

The Chefs Table was a great setting and an amazing restaurant. The food was excellent as was the service. The Owner / Chef came out several times and shared his knowledge of wine which added to the evening.
    •  Extraordinary people, great food.
