Sips n Strokes for those that don't know is a painting event! You pay a fee and bring your own food and drink and you learn how to paint a particular picture. It's actually quite interesting how very much the paintings look like what the instructor is teaching you how to paint and you don't need any special artistic skill at all. Although the cost is a bit much, you do get all supplies provided and you get to take your painting home with you at the end of the night. Be sure to reserve your seat early as they fill up quickly. You need a credit card to reserve your seat, but you can pay with cash, credit or check at the door. If you reserve and can't go, remember to cancel your registration 3 days early to avoid being charged.
