Embarrassed to order a champagne at a wine tasting event? It actually IS sparkling wine, unless it comes from the Champagne region of France. But who cares? We don't. We drink champagne because it awakens the mouth, because there's always something to celebrate, and because, for some of you out there, the bubbles tickle the nose (but not me, of course. ;)
