We’re excited to kick off 2009 with a bang, taking Rock ‘n Roll Wine to one of the hottest nightclubs on the strip, LAX. As always we’ll pack the place with a selection of over 30 delicious wines from California, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Italy and more while rocking out with a live performance from LA based indie band The Tender Box.
LAX Nightclub, located in the Luxor Hotel & Casino, caters to a sophisticated audience, and combines state-of-the-art sound and lighting, with a modern design & sexy gothic accents to create an atmosphere found no where else in the world.
Inspired by the synth-pop movement of the 80’s, The Tender Box combines chiming guitars and swooning vocals to create a tremendous incandescent British Rock sound. Drawing comparisons to acts ranging from The Cure and Depeche Mode to the Killers, The Tender Box has been featured as the iTunes single of the week generating more than 120,000 downloads over a seven day span.
