CHOCOLATE, since its introduction into western civilization by the Spanish after their conquest of Central America, has variously been regarded as a medicine, as an aphrodisiac [recommended by the legendary Casanova] , as a status symbol and according to 19th century French gastronome Brillat Savarin as a perfect mood elevator.
Today it is regarded as one of the best things in life, just as WINE. So why not to try to match them together.
Chocolate and Wine is a new idea. One that must be tried to be really understood.
We will taste 8 different styles of wine from around the world and experiment with several varieties of chocolates from white,
milk, spicy to bittersweet dark as well as some chocolate cake and chocolate mousse.
