“Summer Whites and Rosés”: What’s So Great About Torrontes from Argentina, Rosés from Provence, and Gewurztraminers from Alsace, and Chenin Blancs from wherever?
Chenin blancs are "handier than a Swiss Army knife and comes in sweet, dry and fizzy."
COME AND FIND OUT!
Bring an appetizer. We've got some remarkable cooks, but if you can only bring cheese that's OK.
Those who bring a meal to share are exempt from bringing a wine.
The grill will be on for those who would like to bring something to grill.
Cost? If this your first time, $3 for the glass. Otherwise we appreciate donations for the cleanup, space and Sparkling wine $1-5. Most of the time we cover our costs.
We start off with the sparkler. Ned will introduce the basic grape. Then we put them in paper bags to taste them blind. Ad the end of the evening you will have tested and refined your palate.
If you don't have time to purchase a wine, just bring $20 and put it in the RSVP. I'll get the wines for you.
Please RSVP with what you are bringing. Look forward to seeing you there.
PS: Please change your RSVP to "No" if your plans change. Sometimes people are shut out of a full event while others No Show it.
