Hey Austin Wine Lovers -
It's the best deal in town....a sit-down wine tasting of "Barbeque Reds"...wines especially chosen for their ability to pair with the spicy-smoky-sweet-tart tastes of the world's finest food...genuine Texas Barbeque!
The class, "Barbeque Reds" will be offered this Saturday...May 2nd at 3:00 pm. The class is led by "Miss Jane" Nickles, the Wine Educator at The Texas Culinary Academy, as part of TCA's Fifth Annual Barbeque Cook-off. The location is the Ventana Restaurant on the TCA Campus.
The best part...it's only ten bucks! Wines poured include a fantastic Napa Zinfandel, an incredible "you've got to taste it to believe it Syrah, Broquel Malbec, Tavel Rose, and South Africa's cult classic "The Chocolate Block," all paired with various tastes of award-winning BBQ.
