Claude Michot "Les Berthiers" Pouilly Fume 2006 (Silky) - Michots Pouilly-Fumé is intensely fragrant, heady with acacia blossoms, wet stone, and fresh herbs. The flavours are vibrant and bright on the palate, with a hint of nuts and honey. This wine is highly versatile and can be enjoyed with an entire range of foods: light Hors d?oeuvres, grilled fish, Cajun food, poultry, ham, pasta, sushi, goat cheese, or any mild cheese in general.

Domaine Demessey Macon-Cruzille 2004 (Silky) - Brilliant, yellow-green color. Good intensity and delicate. A lively style with aromas of fresh peach and acacia paired with intense accents of grilled bread and smoked butter. It is ripe and fruity on the palate, satisfyingly rich yet bone dry. It is a perfect accompaniment to full flavored fish and poultry dishes. Try it also alone as an aperitif.

Domaine Desertaux-Ferrand Pinot Noir 2004 (Mellow) - Bright black cherry color. Intense aromas of stewed fruit. This Bourgogne is an earthy and elegant pinot noir for a very reasonable price. The most versatile of all red wines, you can serve this wine with almost anything!

Domaine Balaguere Cotes du Ventoux 2004 (Fruity) - Distinctly characterized by its aromas of black fruit, spice, and pepper. This wine is intended to be enjoyed while still young and should be enjoyed with grilled meat (red or white). An interesting bit of trivia, archeological discoveries of wine making equipment have dated that wine has been produced in the Cote du Ventoux area at least since around 30 years after the birth of Christ.

Chateau Sorbey Haut-Medoc, Bordeaux, France 2005 - In advance, the charming ruby red color of this wine reveals the elegant nature of its aromas. Then, smoky notes mingle with honey, flowers and juicy red fruit. On the palate, the ripe fruit elements extend to cherry and black plum notes, ending with a hint of eucalyptus which lifts the wines and makes it appealingly fresh. The 2005 is this wine?s best vintage to date and was an exceptional vintage throughout the Medoc.
