What: Wines from the Land Down Under

When: Sat. March 21, 2009 – 6:30 to 9PM

Where: Redwood Shores – Exact address to be emailed to those who have paid by March 7.

We're having a wine-tasting party at a scenic clubhouse on a lagoon in Redwood Shores with the theme "Wines from the Land Down Under". Each guest is asked to bring at least a 1/2 bottle of their favorite Australian or New Zealand wine ($15+). People coming in pairs can bring 1 bottle per couple, 3 people can bring 2 bottles, etc. Parking is extremely limited so guests are strongly encouraged to carpool, not to mention you could find someone with whom to split the bottle of wine. Substantial appetizers will be provided.

To pay for the room reservation, food, and cleanup, as well as get a firm headcount for ordering catered appetizers, a $10 per person payment is required in advance. Guests can pay with Paypal or check. The first 30 people that RSVP Yes will be contacted with payment details. If 30 payments are not received by March 7, those on the Waitlist will be contacted and offered the opportunity to attend. As for refunds, if you have paid and are not able to make it and there are people on the Waitlist, you can contact them directly and offer your spot, and if you confirm with me, I will add their name to the attendee list and remove your spot.
