The space was quite cramped and the focus seemed to be much more on networking for social reasons than on job hunting. I met some good people though and had fun.

Great wine and company. Need more employers.
    •  I met some interesting and wonderful people that I hope I can connect to my network and visa versa.
    •  This venue is too crowded for this many people and restricts the amount of networking that can be done.
    •  Great location and time!
    •  Nice to socialize and network.
    •  I got there a little late and it appeared that everyone already formed their little clicks. It did not feel comfortable to break into their conversations at that point. I did end up with a very nice group of 5 people and we had a conversation about other personal interest as well as our job search. The venue was a little small to accommodate a group that large and it made it more difficult to maneuver the room since it was so crowded. This also made it more difficult to roam around the room and try talk to others. All in all, I think this is a great idea and please keep offering this type of mixer. With the job climate right now, you may want to try to have another one sooner. Thanks for your efforts.
    •  invite said that recruiters would be there and there didn't seem to be any. lots of people looking for work! always good to meet new people though. the wine store was certainly getting LOTS of business from us - selling many glasses of wine. if we weren't there, they wouldn't have made a penny that nite. when asked if there was a discount on bottles to buy, they said no. not a good business decision in my opinion.
