What: Blind Zinfandel Tasting
When: Friday October 30th at 6 O’clock
Where: Sunnyvale (private residence) exact address will be provided to those who RSVP yes the week of the event.

Cost: There is no formal charge for the event. However it is suggested that people attending make a donation to help pay for the food, wine, and cleanup. The suggested donation is $20 per person. There will be a donation box set up at the event.

Mark is generously opening his home to the group and asking if we can help him dispose of some of his Zinfandel . He will provide a blind tasting of some wines peaking in his cellar. There will be 8 of the following wines served blind for your evaluation and enjoyment. The participant that gets the most correct will win a bottle of the wine they rated highest of the 6. Or just come to enjoy the witty banter and repartee of fellow wine enthusiasts.

Feel free to wear a costume but a costume is not required. Mark will have a special prize for the best costume.

    On the wait list to crash my own event! I will be in costume and hope I am not the only one in Halloween attire. And sorry Michael, I am throwing you a curve. I added one more to the blind tasting (now a total of 9!) and have 2 on deck if folks are interested in sampling them afterwards. So you can just add it to the end of your guess and see how you score! And upgrading the food for this event too. Should be fun and look forward to seeing returning guests, and meeting new friends.

    Considering I got 0 out of 0 at the blind Cabs tasting, I'm going to randomly pick wines and stick with my guesses. LOL Look forward to another exciting evening at Mark's place. See you there!
