“ Lots of people there, but since Mantra does wine tastings I can't say how many were there for the meetup and how many for the heck of it. Speaking of which I thought there was to be a slightly more formal wine tasting aspect to it along the lines of some sort of indication that there were particular wines to taste and perhaps a winery rep would be on hand, neither of which seemed the case. I did introduce myself to someone named Junco for the heck of it which was good, but I just felt claustrophobic and out of place and had to bolt. It was too hard to get a glass of wine and that space back of the bar was just too jammed. I did go to the Pescadero USD fundraiser at Thos. Fogarty and while that was equally un-meetup organized it was a great space for a good cause and I actually met a couple women at him, one of whom I've friended on FB. Meeting up at a pre-existing fundraiser or the job hunt meetup seem like better events to me. Cheers! ”
