This group is for people who all have interest in or love of wine who can get together for good times and enjoyment of learning! Maybe we can even someday use "oenophile" correctly in a complete sentence in everyday conversation.

We also will be recording notes from our tastings, so as time goes on, we will be building quite a resource for anyone trying to decide just what to have with that special dinner or casual get together! See below for the link to the notes page.

This group is a no snobs zone! Heck, I grew up with my dad buying the gallon jugs of Ernest and Julio Gallo Chianti! It should be fun for all and laid back and I don't believe that a good wine is necessarily defined by what comes after the "$." Who ever said wine tasting and wine enjoying should be such a hoity-toity experience???

All are welcome, no matter how much they know or what they have tried -- I am a simple Tuscan Red kind of guy myself. So, if this sounds like you, or even if you just like to slurp and spit in public (only with wine, please), Benvenuto!






What to Expect at Our Meetups:

Our meetups are very casual and relaxed. Yes we are there to taste wines, but we are also there to have fun, meet new friends, and make happy memories. There are folks in our group who know a lot about wine and there are people who know nothing about wine. (I am in the latter category -- I am an organizer, not a somellier!) I hope we can all learn from the experience and from one another. Hope to see you soon!
