Come to a local Wine Meetup to taste new wines; learn about common and specialized varietals: Tinto del Pais, Mencia, Touriga Nacional, Mourvedre, Trebianno, Tocai Friulano, Super Tuscans, Aligote, Primitivo, Syrah, Malbec, Torrontés, etc..

Everyone's welcome: the very new to the very experienced.

Just as important as all of the above, are food pairings -- designed specifically for each of the wines featured. At least 3 exquisite dishes is included in your admission price.

Admission of $29.95 entitles you to 4-5 wines and at least 3 chef-prepared dishes sure to take the food & wine to the next level, several pages of handout materials, etc

Some events will focus on descriptive analysis, others on blind tasting , some will be on wine judging, sommelier service & cellar mgmt & design.

Events will be held at Powers Liquor Mart, 5847 Palmer Park Blvd, the 2nd or 3rd Thurs. of each month. Group size will be limited to 18 people per event.

Events begin at 6:30 and last until 830.
