I wanted to thank the people that were able to make the meet up last night. It was nice meeting Christine, Ruth, Steve, and Lee. We had buzz show up for the meet up, he is a sommier that spoke about the four wines we tasted and about the regions they came from. Buz also gave tips on what food the wine paired well with.
I realize this was the first meet up for this group since I took over as the organizer, although I hoped more would attend I believe the meetup will grow in numbers with each one we host. I plan on having the next meet up on a Thursday starting at 7pm to see if this time is better for some of the other memnbers of the group.
Please feel free to give any suggestions you like about this met up. Rob and I look forward to the next meet up and hope this group grows while learning more about wine with friends.
