Rochester's Fruit of the Vine Wine Bunch
|
Summer's rolling around, and that can only mean one thing in the world of wine - Whites are back in vogue! Our upcoming tastings will feature prominent white wine varietals during the spring and summer months. You won't have to travel around the world to experience the bountiful bouquets and flavors available here in Rochester. All you'll have to do is travel with us once a month to a different local venue as we organize and host various wine tastings (and on occasion pair them with food). We welcome anyone with an interest in wine. We strive to have people of differing levels of experience, and a strong desire to learn and share our passion about wine. We will touch on many varietals and explore many different regions. Everyone's welcome, from the curious to the connoisseur. I welcome you to check the calendar for upcoming tastings and locations and check Messages (left column) for general discussions or announcements. Please don't hestitate to contact me with any questions. I Hope to see you there! Shaun

We will taste Chardonnays from around the world. Chardonnay is a very versatile grape and is grown in many notable regions around the world; sadly, however, there are some that label Chardonnay as heavy, oaky, and flabby. Read more
