Brandywine BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB FUNDRAISER APRIL 18TH 7PM-9PM
Meet "Bubbles" and "Omar" from HBO's "The Wire". $25 donation to the Boys and Girls Club.

Chapel Hill Wine Co "special" Sat tasting 4/19 1-5 PM.
Instead of usual Sat tastings at CHWC & HWC, they are hosting a special "Wedding, Anniversary, Graduation, Baby Shower" event at Mark Day Company located right beside Lockhart's Trading Post on Highway 86. Look for event planners, chocolate, flowers, framing, photogs, and of course... wine.

5 "high-end" (really what I'd consider to be medium level i.e. $20-37) wines

The Wine Authorities April 24th - Go West and Drink Wine!
The US Pacific coast including California, Oregon, and Washington State. $48, 7:30-9:30.

Also on Saturday, May 3rd from 2 pm -10 pm, in Downtown Raleigh at Moore Square is Capitol Crush. This is a FREE event with wines available to be purchased by the glass as well as some higher end wines available to taste and try.
