American Wine Society

Did you know, there's an "American Wine Society", a national organization devoted to "promoting an appreciation of wine through education"? And, that there's a Triangle Chapter of said society?

The Triangle Chapter meets generally on the third Sunday of each month; usually in Raleigh, but not always; and focuses on a different wine theme each month, with a tasting led by member volunteers. There is a fee for each tasting, dependent on the cost of wines and facilities, most often $15. The Triangle Chapter welcomes people to join them as a guest for up to three tastings, after which, membership in the national society is required.
