Introduction: I run the NYC Cheese Lovers Club meetup group and also the Yiddish meetup group. I love both cheese and language, and wine goes great with both.
Do you have a favorite region for wine and if so where is it?: Piedmont, Italy
What wine do you prefer red or white?: Red, but it has started to give migraines!
Tell everyone what your favorite wine is and why.: Today, my favorite wine is dry Alsatian Gewurztraminer. Why? Spices, flowers, minerals, exotic fruits...it's a wine that makes you see visions, even before the juice hits the blood. It can also handle some pretty aromatic cheeses.
