- Do you have a favorite region for wine and if so where is it?

I'd have to vote for either the Barossa Valley in Australia or Paso Robles in central California. While neither may have the tourist appeal of Napa or Tuscany, they both make killer reds.

I'm a fan of things big and bold, so my favorite wines are Shiraz's from the south of Australia (either Barossa Valley or McClaren Vale) and California Zinfandels.
