Introduction

I once heard the saying "Beer is made by man, wine is made by God", and I couldn't agree more.

Where is your favorite place to buy wine?

I buy wine anywhere. If I find a wine that piques my interest, I pick it up. However, I do like purchasing directly from a Virginia vineyard, or at one of the annual wine festivals.

What are your favorite types of wine?

Merlot, although recently I have been developing a taste for Shiraz and Port.
